We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Junior Operator. Position Responsibilities
The Junior Operator plays a pivotal role in the daily functionality of our power generation systems. Under the direct supervision of the Shift Leader and Unit Controller, you will be responsible for:
* Ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of gas turbine combined cycle power (CCP) station systems.
* Operating equipment in strict accordance with established safety guidelines and operational protocols.
* Monitoring system performance and assisting in the maintenance of plant technical integrity.
* Working effectively within a rotating shift schedule to support 24/7 power plant operations.
Candidate Requirements
To qualify for this position, candidates must demonstrate a strong technical foundation and the ability to thrive in a demanding industrial setting.
* Education: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering.
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience within a similar industrial or power plant environment.
* Technical Proficiency:
* Familiarity with CCP operations and water chemistry.
* Ability to interpret non-complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
* Competence in reading logic diagrams and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID).
* Understanding of power plant terminology and standard operational functions.
* Essential Skills:
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
* Strong attention to detail and a thorough approach to technical tasks.
* Professional verbal and written communication skills in English.
