## Role Overview: Accounting Professional
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of our aquaculture operations. This position requires a balance of technical accounting expertise and an interest in field-based operations. You will be responsible for translating complex cultivation data into actionable financial insights, ensuring that our Nila Breeding Center remains efficient and profitable.
## Core Responsibilities
In this position, you will be tasked with the following essential functions:
* Financial Reporting: Oversee day-to-day transaction recording and the preparation of comprehensive financial statements.
* Cost Management: Calculate cultivation costs, including feed, seed, and general operational expenses, while accurately determining the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
* Asset Monitoring: Track and manage biological assets, specifically fish populations, and maintain precise inventory records.
* Partnership Accounting: Administer records related to cultivation partnerships and profit-sharing agreements.
* Analytical Control: Conduct cost control measures, analyze operational variances, and provide detailed profit reports per cycle or per pond.
* Management Support: Provide accurate data and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making by company leadership.
## Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess the following profile:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Accounting or Finance.
* Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in accounting or costing roles.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with professional accounting software.
* Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of financial reporting and COGS calculations.
* Soft Skills: High level of accuracy, strong analytical capabilities, and excellent communication skills.
* Operational Readiness: A genuine willingness to learn and engage with field operations within the aquaculture environment.
* Preferred Assets: Previous experience in the fisheries or manufacturing sectors is considered a significant advantage.
