## Career Opportunity: Laboratory Analyst
PT Kawasan Industri Medan is currently seeking a detail-oriented Laboratory Analyst to join our team. This role is essential for maintaining the environmental standards and operational excellence of our facilities.
Qualifications and Requirements
Candidates interested in this position should meet the following criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering.
* Academic Performance: Minimum GPA of 2.80/4.00.
* Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
* Core Competencies: Proficiency in HSE Management, environmental impact analysis, water sampling techniques, quality control (QC), quality assurance (QA), and specialized laboratory equipment operation.
Primary Responsibilities
The selected Laboratory Analyst will be responsible for the following core duties:
* Sampling and Analysis: Collection and analysis of wastewater from the PT KIM waste treatment unit and industrial partners, as well as testing clean water supplies.
* Reporting: Preparing daily and monthly reports, including analytical results for submission to relevant authorities.
* Maintenance: Managing laboratory inventory, including chemical supplies, and performing internal instrument calibration.
* Operational Support: Executing additional tasks as assigned by the Department or Division Head to ensure seamless laboratory workflows.
