## Candidate Qualifications and Expertise

As a Control System Engineer in the Grade-D-Functional capacity, your day-to-day responsibilities will directly impact the reliability and efficiency of KPC’s power generation assets:
1. Technical Assessments: Formulate comprehensive cost estimates and technical evaluations for various modification, improvement, and ongoing project activities.
2. Procedure Development: Create and continuously update maintenance protocols for control systems and instrumentation utilized in diesel gensets and coal-fired power plants.
3. Programming and Troubleshooting: Actively program, modify, and troubleshoot complex industrial networks, including Siemens S7 and Allen-Bradley PLCs, MaxDNA DCS, and Siemens WinCC SCADA platforms.
4. Reliability Engineering: Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to formulate proactive maintenance schedules for technical teams.
5. Design and Safety Standards: Prepare robust designs, technical specifications, and accurate cost estimates for operational upgrades, ensuring strict adherence to national and international benchmarks.
