## Open Position: Junior Operator
We are currently looking for a dedicated Junior Operator to join our Operations Department based in Cilamaya, Karawang. This role is pivotal in maintaining the reliability and performance of our world-class power generation systems. Core Responsibilities
As a Junior Operator, you will serve on the front lines, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our plant operations. Your primary duties will include:
* Operational Management: Safely monitor and regulate Combined Cycle Power Plant (CCP) systems, including managing start-up and shutdown procedures.
* Technical Surveillance: Conduct routine equipment inspections, maintain precise operational logs, and report any system irregularities immediately.
* Documentation Proficiency: Interpret complex technical documentation, including P&IDs, logic diagrams, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
* System Integrity: Assist in monitoring chemical systems and water treatment processes to ensure environmental and quality compliance.
* Team Collaboration: Participate in shift handovers, maintain clear communication with team members, and assist in waste management and testing protocols.
Candidate Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a blend of technical aptitude and a safety-first mindset:
1. Educational Background: A Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
2. Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in heavy industry or power generation operations; highly capable fresh graduates with strong academic technical foundations are also encouraged to apply.
3. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CCP operations, water chemistry, and the ability to analyze engineering drawings.
4. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
5. Work Flexibility: A willingness to commit to a rotating shift schedule and a dedication to working safely within a collaborative team.
