## Open Position: Operation Staff (Shipping Agency)
We are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in Tanjung Priok. This role is essential to our daily operations, ensuring that our fleet movements are executed with precision and adherence to global safety and efficiency protocols.
Candidate Requirements
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in any field; graduates from maritime academies are strongly preferred.
* Experience: Open to fresh graduates or those with up to two years of experience in the shipping industry.
* Language Proficiency: Must be fluent in English, both verbal and written.
* Technical Skills: Strong computer literacy is required.
* Core Competencies: Solid understanding of shipping logistics, customs procedures, export/import regulations, and professional agency management.
Key Responsibilities
The Operation Staff will play a pivotal role in the end-to-end management of vessel calls. Your primary duties will include:
1. Planning and Coordination: Arrange operational schedules for assigned vessels based on precise timelines and specific requirements.
2. Monitoring: Oversee vessel activities from the pre-arrival stage through to departure.
3. Communication: Act as the primary liaison between principals, general agents, customers, and relevant port stakeholders.
4. Documentation: Manage all essential pre-arrival paperwork and ensure timely submission to port authorities and relevant regulatory bodies.
5. Service Logistics: Coordinate vital services including pilotage, tugboat operations, mooring gangs, and other necessary vessel support.
6. Clearance Management: Facilitate smooth vessel in-clearance by working closely with CIQP (Customs, Immigration, Quarantine, and Port) authorities and surveyors.
7. Operational Oversight: Supervise loading and discharging processes to ensure safety and efficiency throughout the entire cargo handling operation.
