We are currently expanding our exploration division and seeking dedicated, talented geosciences professionals to join our dynamic site operations in Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra.
1. Junior Geologist
As a Junior Geologist, you will play a hands-on role in executing core exploration phases and ensuring data integrity across field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Execute comprehensive exploration stages, encompassing geological mapping, drilling operations, geophysical logging, coal sampling, and technical reporting aligned with project targets.
* Describe drill core lithology meticulously and generate accurate drill logs.
* Interpret geophysical logging data to refine subsurface understanding.
* Build, update, and maintain robust drilling databases.
* Coordinate seamlessly with the exploration team while adhering strictly to company standards and operating procedures.
Professional Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience within the mining or exploration sector.
* Demonstrated expertise in coal geological mapping, drilling supervision, coal sample handling, database management, geophysical logging interpretation, and borehole correlation.
* Willingness to be stationed at our site in Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra.
2. Exploration Geologist
For experienced professionals ready to take on leadership responsibilities, our Exploration Geologist role oversees end-to-end exploration lifecycles and strategic resource modeling.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, execute, and supervise multifaceted exploration programs, from initial geological mapping and drilling to geophysical logging, sampling, and final reporting.
* Perform detailed geological interpretation and correlation of coal seams.
* Develop reliable coal geological models to support long-term mine planning.
* Manage, audit, and validate comprehensive geological databases.
* Liaise effectively with exploration teams, support departments, and external third-party stakeholders.
* Ensure all field and office activities strictly comply with internal protocols, industry standards, and government regulations.
Professional Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 5 years of dedicated professional experience in coal exploration.
* Advanced proficiency in coal geological mapping, drilling management, exploration reporting, geological modeling, and coal resource estimation.
* Hold a valid Mining Supervisor certification, specifically Pengawas Pertambangan Tingkat Pratama (POP) or Pengawas Pertambangan Tingkat Madya (POM).
* Willingness to be stationed at our site in Musi Rawas Utara, South Sumatra.
